I predominantly work with creatives and health care professionals dealing with transitions, stress, burnout, creative blocks, relationships, medical issues, loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I received my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine and completed the American Psychological Association accredited internship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. During my postdoctoral fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, I specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Treatments for depression and anxiety. I'm licensed in California and New York and am a National Register Health Service Psychologist.
MINDFULNESS: I have had a personal practice for over 20 years and have been incorporating mindfulness into my work since 2007. I offer mindfulness training in a variety of settings. I completed the yearlong UCLA Certification in Mindfulness Facilitation at the Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and am an Affiliate UCLA MARC MAPs instructor. Additionally, I completed the Practicum in Mindfulness Based Stress Management at the University of Pennsylvania and Mindful Schools Educator Essentials and am a Certified Mindfulness Teacher - Professional Level (CMT-P) by the IMTA.
WELLNESS EDUCATION AND COACHING: I have presented classes, workshops, and seminars to students, clients, staff, management and leadership in a variety of organizational settings. I completed a Positive Psychology and Well-Being Coaching Certification and training as a Health and Wellness Coach through College of Executive Coaching and am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
